Born in Xi'an in 1990, He Tianqi graduated from Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts with a master's degree in 2016. He was an invited visiting scholar at the Chinese Cultural Center in Paris, France, and currently works and lives in Xi'an. In 2016, he presented the collaborative project "San Cai Tu Hui" at OCAT Xi'an. Other major exhibitions include: "Urban Geography: An Imagined History of Xi'an" at OCAT Xi'an (2018); "Playful Objects" at Fake Project (2018); "Chinese Contemporary Works on Paper" in London, UK (2016); "Letters from China" at The Minories Gallery in London, UK (2016); and "Op Lopp Pudding" at Stichting White Cube in the Netherlands (2015).
