Zhang Zhenyu, born in Hunan province, Graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts. Currently Lives and Works in Beijing. His main works include the "Reading" series, in which he scrapes the information content of newspapers, and the "Dust" series, in which he sands and polishes the dust to a mirror finish. Recent solo exhibitions include: Series of solo exhibitions Trace at Tang Contemporary Art（2017） in Hong Kong, Yallay Gallery in Hong Kong (2016), Richard Koh Fine Art in Malaysia (2016), Museum of Contemporary Art Chengdu (2016), and X Gallery in Beijing (2015，2016，2018). He also has held solo exhibition Reading and Not Reading at Hanart TZ Gallery, Hong Kong (2009). The artist has also participated in several group exhibitions in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and other countries.
