Mocube is honoured to present Kang Jing’s latest exhibition ‘Engraved on My Bone’ on the 11th of June, 2022. The exhibition is Kang Jing’s fourth solo exhibition held by Mocube. This exhibition will run until August 1, 2022.

The exhibition showcases sculptures that seem to grow and continue with the shape of a tree or a branch, speaking the artist’s capture and confirmation in the constant increase and decrease of the forms.

Kang starts his exploration from image, texture, volume, space, found objects, natural objects, etc. These objects or concepts are about interlinked things and people coming to the same destination from different paths.

The artist transforms the technical difficulties encountered into opportunities to enhance the texture of the works and expands his cognition in touching, pinching, and shaping. Practice and cognition are intertwined, same as shaping and self-shaping.

Engraving is an action, a profound feeling, as well as a constant awakening of the memory.
