The fragmentation of the time and space reconstructs into a new map.  A personal map, a map of enclosure, a map stripes off the concept of the city; injecting the time into space, while diminishing the affect of time in space.

The experience as a flaneur unconsciously compartmentalizes the space into infinite pieces; and then  in the process of bringing together these pieces, the time is consciously divided into the‘meaningful’ and  the ‘meaningless’. The ‘meaningful time’ corresponds to the part that normally occurs in the conventional narrative as the time that draws attention and should be remembered. The ‘meaningless time’ refers to the obsolete and neglected, time that is dropped off in silence. What it should original be homogenous in time is now alienated in man’s conscious,transforming into the one that carries two completely different meanings. Igenuinely question such a definition, or by extension, the heterogenisation of time, hoping to put forward an action of artistic intervention as an attempt tobring up the possibilities of restoring or re-emphasising the homogeneity ofthe time.

In the meantime, the artist performs herselfas an active subject in this project through remapping the space that abolishesits geographical significance in the physical sense, and allowing it tocontinually enrich  itself with an open attitude. Everyone can enrich it with individually-defined nodes and paths – ‘The World Map of Ego’ is the pattern of the new world segmented through imagination and fantasy. It’s like creating another space that goes beyond the ‘physical space’, ‘virtual space’,‘political space’, and other defined space alike. It is essentially an image ofthe new world composed of scattered pieces of time and the interlaced personal experience.

Constructa ‘psychogeographic space’ – breaking the spatial limitation. Reveal the recessive time to be equivalent to the dominant time.
